Nudge Factory is expanding and we are looking to recruit an Associate to our talented team. Our ideal candidate will be confident, presentable, articulate and be able to demonstrate a keen interest in politics and public affairs as well as a creative approach to problem solving.

The purpose of the role is to work as a member of our associate team, assisting with client management, service delivery, research and monitoring. The role also includes writing briefings to deliver excellent insight and strategic direction to our clients.

An Associate will be equally comfortable providing research support to our senior team and dealing directly with clients, partner agencies and suppliers. Our work takes us from FTSE 100 firms to local community groups and everything in between, so the candidate who fills this role will need to be able to adapt to the different needs and demands of all our clients to make sure they get the level and type of service they require.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an interest in corporate affairs, including policy development and analysis, strategic planning, stakeholder mapping and campaigning. The candidate needs to be confident in providing research and context to our clients, and will enjoy getting involved in multiple projects as part of a small and busy team. They will want to make a substantial contribution to the consultancy. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. Often our work takes us out of the office to deliver public consultations, exhibitions and events; so a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and get involved is also a must.

An Associate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is well organised, highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative. At the start of a corporate affairs career, an Associate will begin to develop their own networks within both political and media circles.

Initially, Associates will work across all of Nudge Factory’s practices ultimately specialising in one specific practice when they join a practice team.
